CHARLESTON, S.C. (May 15, 2012) – The Florida Premier League, part of US Club Soccer’s National Premier Leagues (NPL), has announced that it will add six new clubs for the 2012-13 season, including Kendall SC. These new clubs will join five founding members of the Florida Premier League: Brandon FC, Jacksonville United, Orlando City FC (formerly CFK Kraze/Krush), Space Coast United, and Tampa Bay United.

April 23, 2012 - The Kendall SC family is saddened by the untimely passing of David Cuervo, a member of Kendall SC’s class of 2011, who played on the U18 USSDA team and earned First Team All-Dade honors with the Varela Vipers. On the night of Sunday, April 22 David was involved in a traffic accident in West Kendall and died immediately as a result of the collision. Our thoughts and prayers are with David’s family in this time of great sorrow. April 20, 2012 - Kendall SC is proud to announce tryouts for the 2012 Super-Y League season for the U12 (‘99/’00), U13 (‘98/’99), U14 (‘97/’98) and U15 (‘96/’97) Boys age groups.  Take advantage of the opportunity to stay in top form throughout the summer months while you showcase your talent against top competition from across the state of Florida. Open tryouts will be held on May 11-12 and May 20 as indicated in the table accessible through the link below. An additional tryout for the U13 team only has been added on May 21 at 6:30 in Westwind Lakes Park.

April 18, 2012 – Kendall SC’s U14G White and U11B White will be representing Region A in the FYSA President’s Cup this weekend in Auburndale. The U14 girls repeated as Region A Cup champions and are hoping to grab the statewide title this year, while the U11 boys outlasted the top teams from South Florida to claim the Region A crown.

April 4, 2012 – With two months left in the school year, more than 10 graduating seniors from Kendall SC teams have sealed their plans to play soccer at the collegiate level, including over half a dozen that have committed to NCAA Division 1 programs, including Florida Atlantic, Florida International, George Washington, Gonzaga, Long Island, Jacksonville and West Virginia. Several more Kendall SC members expect to finalize their college plans in the coming weeks. See below for the complete list as of today.

March 31, 2012 – Kendall SC’s 97 Pre-Academy and 96 Pre-Academy teams won their groups in the first round of the FYSA State Cup and advanced directly to the Challenge Round of 16 on April 28 and 29 in the U15 and U16 age groups respectively. The U13B finished second in their group and will play in the second round elimination on April 14 and 15.

March 29, 2012 – Kendall SC’s U14G White, U11B White and U17B Blue will be vying for Region A Cup Division 1 Championships this weekend at Plantation’s Pine Island Park. The U14 girls face Boynton Beach Knights and the U11 boys play Coral Gables Toros in the Finals while the U17 boys meet up with Miami Lakes Premier in a Semifinal game. The U13B Blue team also made it as far as the Division 1 Semifinal, but failed to make it through to the title match this weekend.

March 2, 2012 - The U.S. Under-14 and Under-15 Boys’ National Teams both convened for training camps from March 3-10 in Carson, California, and Kendall SC’s Andy Alvarez was among the 36 U15 players invited to participate in the camp.
