U14G BLUE WIN WHITE FLIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE ORANGE CLASSIC
January 2, 2010 – It wasn’t an easy road, but Kendall SC’s U14G Blue team fought their way to win the championship of the White flight of the 2009 Orange Classic, taking the final by the narrowest of margins, on penalty kicks over Coral Springs Renegades. Claiming the title in their first tournament appearance marks a big step forward for the newly formed team.

KENDALL SC ALUMN WINS NCAA DIV. 1 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

December 13, 2009 – The No. 2 Virginia men’s soccer team captured its sixth NCAA Championship, and first since 1994, with a 3-2 penalty kick shootout win over No. 1 Akron following a 0-0 draw in the NCAA Championship final at WakeMed Soccer Park. The Cavaliers (19-3-3) ended the season on a 16-game unbeaten streak. Diego Restrepo, a member of Kendall SC’s 2006 U20 Super Y-League North American championship team, starred on goal for the Cavaliers and earned defensive MVP honors in the NCAA College Cup.

SUPER Y-LEAGUE FINALS SHOWCASE MATCH
TSF Academy downs Kendall SC, 2-0
November 21, 2009 - Jeff McLaughlin scored two goals: one in stoppage-time of the first half and one in stoppage-time of the second half, to set up TSF Academy for a one-game showdown with Real Maryland tomorrow for the right to compete in the U17 boys semifinals on Monday. Tonight’s match was the annual Showcase Match for the USL SoccerFest. The game highlighted a rematch of last season’s U16 boy’s semfinal that ended 1-0 in favor of TSF Academy over Kendall SC.

FOURTEEN KENDALL SC PLAYERS SELECTED TO SUPER Y LEAGUE NATIONAL ODP
October 30, 2009 - United Soccer Leagues announced today the players nominated and selected for the 2009/2010 Super Y-League ODP National Camps. Among the selections are 14 members of the Kendall SC Super Y’League program. Each nominated player has been identified as one of the top players in their birth year, and among the top 2% of players in the Super Y-League.
